L. 1. מנזרים] with Dagesh in the נ, as Nah. 3,17.
L. 14. בין] Joseph, p. 199, suggests בבין metri causa, after
having denied in a note on the preceding page
that the poem has any metre.
L. 22. ננהים] Participle Niph'al; Joseph, p. 199, suggests
נוהים (Kal) despite the fact that the only passage
where the verb נהה occurs in the sense intended
here (1 Sam. 7,2) exhibits the Niph'al.
L. 29 אני] Four syllables are found in hemistichs else-
where (even la); Joseph's suggestion to read אני
is not acceptable.
L. 32 וחיי] Joseph (p. 200) wants to emend it to ומחיה (pro-
bably so for ומחיי of the edition), by analogy with
מרפא, but a noun corresponds with a noun, not a
participle.
